Highland Lakes Family Day, Swim Competition, All Boat Regatta, and More! Highland Lakes Country Club and Community Association is a private lake community comprised of five lakes, seven beaches, a clubhouse, and recreational facilities including ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas, and playgrounds, all on roughly two square miles of land. Members enjoy the use of kayaks, canoes, rowboats, paddle boats, pontoon boats, and small pleasure boats on its lakes. In addition to all those amenities, Highland Lakes also hosts several annual events. Communications Manager Chastity Cortijo shared the following photos of the association’s Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony, Family Day (including an epic egg toss game), All Boat Regatta, and swim team ‘B’ Invitational.

Overall, events like these positively impact individuals and the wider community by fostering a sense of belonging and togetherness among community members.
