live streaming. Events’ success is now being judged on how well the atten- dants remain engaged. It will be interesting to see what hap- pens to virtual education and events once the pandemic is over. Many believe that they are here to stay. Some believe that once they are no longer needed, they will become obsolete. However, most experts say that we can expect a hybrid version to come out of this. Although there is no replacement for human interaction, there are defi- nite benefits of virtual events/learning that cannot be denied. Either way, I am confident that continued education and career-based events are important enough to our industry professionals that they will overcome any challenge. n
