Our jobs at this point have become more complicated. Between the contin- uous need to become educated on the ever-changing laws, through executive orders, preparing recommendations for our boards, and then educating those boards, our communities have need- ed us more than ever before. As an industry, we have stepped up to this challenge and written the handbook to operate within a pandemic. It is fair to say that the virtual meetings have been met with both embrace and opposition, however, this newly created form of meeting, forged in an unfortu- nate situation, is a new norm. n
