CAI-NJ January 2021

VIRTUAL EDUCATION & EVENTS UPDATE

JACLYN OSKIERKO | DIRECTOR, CONFERENCE & EVENTS

T o say 2020 was difficult would be an understatement. The year brought many challenges to the fulfilling the goals of CAI-NJ and providing the membership with opportunities to continue their education and provide networking experiences. The chapter’s team was tasked with creating a new way of participation in CAI-NJ which naturally evolved into virtual programming. Wednesday Webinars The biggest accomplishment was the Wednesday Webinar series, with twenty consecutive weeks of a webinar series presented by the CAI-NJ member partners, including the Ultimate, Elite and Premier Partners. The series featured three to four companies who spoke on various topics to provide our members with incredible knowledge, as well as the opportunity for managers to earn one credit hour weekly for their professional designations. This series fulfilled 20 hours of education credit opportunities. For anyone who missed the opportunity to participate live, all members can catch up by using the online webinar library by visiting https://cainj.org/webinars/, where all virtual programming will continue to be posted. The Wednesday Webinar series will continue in the Spring of 2021, featur- ing the CAI-NJ Ultimate Partners. Community Association Virtual Roundtables The Manager and Homeowner Leader Committees pre- sented two rounds of the Community Association Virtual Roundtable Discussion, which were a great success. Just like our in-person roundtables, discussion attendees made their way to each sponsor who discussed topics in their areas of expertise. Thank you to the sponsoring companies who provided our members with time sensitive education along with 1.5 credit hours for managers who participat-

Live Stream Sessions In addition to theWednesdayWebinars and Roundtables, 2021 will feature the Virtual Live Stream Sessions with the 2020 exhibiting members. opportunity to meet face to face [screen to screen] with five exhibitors per session. The exhibitors will be available to answer any questions you may have and continue to educate the membership. If you have any suggestions to topics or new program ideas, please don’t hesitate to contact the chapter office at info@cainj.org or (609) 588-0030 and share your thoughts. Looking ahead into the new year, we are eager to continue to provide timely educational programs for our CAI-NJ family. Although we are quite anxious to get back together in-per- son, the virtual programming has been able to successfully provide the educational programs members are promised. n
