W ho wouldn’t say yes to free money? Although most of us will spend a lifetime striking out on scratch-offs and lottery tickets, we can still find “free money” if we look hard enough. There is a plethora of programs available to homeowners and businesses that provide financial incentives on “going green.” Although these programs typically require an initial outlay of cash to install ener gy-efficient components, the incentives offered may make such
projects that once seemed “too expensive” become affordable. This article will discuss some of the state and federal programs available to both homeowners and community associations.
