One last solution that I have per sonally witnessed towards eliminating this problem is to ask all attendees to send their concerns and questions to the host prior to the meeting. The host can then allot a portion of the session during which all of the questions are addressed, thus greatly reducing the potential for disruptive attendees. 4. Keeping it Professional: One of the many advantages of virtual meetings is that we can easily conduct business from the comfort of our own homes. That being said, it is important to ensure that the comfort of our own home does not carry itself onto the computer screen. What to Do: Changing out of your bathrobe, tidying up your back ground, and ensuring that you are in a quiet environment goes a long way to ensure that you are maintaining a professional appearance! While it is great to be able to keep things casual when working at home, it is important to always remember that we are still conducting business during our virtual meetings, and to respect the other attendees that are working together with you on the meeting. While many of us are still navigating the implementation of virtual meetings, it is safe to say that we can expect the use of these meetings to only become more prevalent in the years to come. Hopefully, the tips and tricks included within this article will help lay the foun dation for your next successful and efficient virtual meeting! n
