While women have made significant contributions to community building and development throughout history, they still face challenges today. Gender-based violence, discrimination, and under-representation in politics and leadership are ongoing issues that women must confront. Moving forward, it is crucial to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women from different cultures and periods and to acknowledge the leadership qualities that have enabled them to make a positive impact on their com munities. Moreover, it is vital to continue to work towards creating an inclusive society that values the contributions of all individuals, regardless of gender. Women have been instrumental in shaping the world we live in today, and their contributions continue to be felt in all aspects of society. n
