Understanding how CAI National makes up the Board of Trustees is informative. There are three councils, Business Partners Council, Community Association Managers Council, and Homeowner Leaders Council. Members of these councils are voted on by their constituents. The Chair and Vice Chair of these councils make us six positions on the board of trustees. The other six positions are at-large, and three others include the president, president-elect, and past president. The nominating committee has criteria for these six Board of Trustees: diversity.
