The Foundation’s mission is to provide research-based informa tion to all community association stakeholders. CAI national hosts this community discussion board, allow ing homeowners to speak openly with each other, learn best practices, and share what’s working for them!

New Jersey law requires that community associations offer homeowners a “fair and efficient” alternative to litigation for virtually every dispute. We have trained mediators who can help you towards a resolution. The CAI-NJ ADR Program will likely be less expensive than the normal judicial process because it is a one-time fee rather than court costs and undetermined legal fees. Also, mediation is confidential, unlike court cases adjudicated in public sessions. Many mediated disputes only require one ses sion to resolve, and sessions are scheduled promptly.
