The forum enables us to ask questions and explain our issues as well as hearing the candidates’ views and get commitments to address problems. For several years we have hosted the Legislative Updates for the NJ Legislative Action Committee (LAC) in our clubhouse. We invited our state legislators in 2018 and 2019, and our Senator and both Assemblymen have attended. Having those repre- sentatives mingle with our residents over coffee was an excellent way to let them know our ideas.
