Navigating the Future with CAI-NJ, and I can’t think of a better way than attending the Annual CAI-NJ Conference & Expo. As I write this article, I am attending the CAI National Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tradeshow floor is packed and the days are filled with educational programming. How wonderful it is that we can finally come together for this kind of event. Back at the chapter office, we too are planning our Annual Conference & Expo and I’m looking forward to once again seeing all of you, our dedicated members, and friends. We truly missed you last year but hope that you are planning to attend. Thanks to our exhibiting business partners, management companies, the Super Sponsor, G&C Electronics, and all of the event sponsors, we are able to offer a full day of educa- tion, information, and networking to our homeowner lead- ers and community association managers, free of charge. Tradeshow Floor. Homeowner leaders and manag- ers, you will have the opportunity to visit 165 Exhibitors. Come and meet the people behind the brands that help your communities be the best that they can be. Take advan- tage of this time, have your questions answered by experts in their fields of expertise as well as discover what is trend- ing in the industry. Networking. Stop by the booths and network with those that you haven’t been able to connect with in-person over the past year-and-a-half or make new connections. There is no better way to shop for services than speaking with the providers face to face. Education. Programs have been created specifically with our members in mind. This year our Conference & Expo programs will include, “Sailing Through Annual Elections & Membership Voting”, presented by Cathi Sleight, CMCA, of Vote HOA Now, “Don’t Get Shipwrecked – What to do When a Disaster Hits Your Community”, presented by Paul Santoriello, PCAM, Taylor Management Company, AAMC, AMO, Tana Bucca, Esq., Becker and Debbie Pasquariello,

CIC, CIRMS, USI Insurance, and the “All Hands-on Deck: NJ-LAC is Working to Improve Community Living in NJ”, a one-hour legislative update session presented to you by rep- resentatives from the New Jersey chapter Legislative Action Committee (NJ-LAC) discussing legislative and regulatory issues affecting common interest communities in New Jersey. New this year, we’ve added an educational session to the evening of the Pre-Conference Networking Reception, follow- ing booth set-up and prior to the reception, “Get on Board with Building Your Network”, presented by David Velasco &
