TUNE IN MANAGERS: Live from iPlay America, the 2018 CAI-NJ Conference & Expo… By Erin O’Reilly, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, FirstService Residential, AAMC

O n Thursday, October 18th, the Annual CAI-NJ Conference will be hosted with over 150 + exhibitors. This is a great opportunity for com- munity association managers and homeowner leaders to network with current service providers as well as meet new vendors. Community association managers and homeowner leaders should take advantage of this great opportunity to network and attend education seminars all at one location. Each year, community associations have a variety of new projects starting or service contracts which may be up for renewal. Carving out time from your busy schedule to attend the Conference & Expo, proactively saves time in countless hours trying to find vendors eligible to complete the services your association may require. Besides fostering new relationships and maintaining old connections, some exhibitors provide products to help bring a visual to you. Need continuing education credits? The Conference & Expo will also host a variety of seminars where the experts can educate community association managers on the lat- est information and how to tackle certain problems which arise within a community. Don’t miss the commercial interruption of $1,000 to be given away each hour. All attendees are eligible to par- ticipate. A total of $5,000 will be given away before the end of the day. To collect your ten $100 bills, you need to be present at the time of the drawing.

There is value for attending the Conference and Expo! As a community association manager, it is a duty to maintain great relationships and to keep current on the information disseminated through CAI. The willingness to carve out the time to network with new and old vendors and attend the educational seminars will pay off. It is important to convey this to the community association board members as well as invite them to attend. Lastly don’t forget, it is free to attend for all community association managers and homeowner leaders. Register online at www.cainj.org . Hope to see all of you there! n
