THE IMPORTANCE OF FINANCIAL PLANNING FOR COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS INCLUDING PLANNING OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, BOTH REPLACEMENT AND NEW - Step by step plan detailing the responsibilities of financial management, logistics, contract negotiations and implementation, for community association board members and managers. Presenter: Edward S. Frank, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, President / CEO, Arthur Edwards, Inc. Mr. Frank has over thirty-three years experience managing community associations valued in excess of $2.5 billion dollars with an excess of $1.7 billion in revenues. Past speaker for CAI-NJ, NJ Department of Commu- nity Affairs and Habitat Magazine. Extensive experience with management recovery plans, forensic studies, financial planning, re-origination, sponsor/builder transitions, capital/repair renovation programs (exterior facade restorations, roofing, siding, parking deck restorations, window replacement projects, mechanical restorations and replacements, elevator modernizations, redecorating projects, etc.) site evaluations, long term planning, marketing strategies, union labor negotiations, facilities management, and security. Presenter: Rich Hausler, Financial Advisor, Vice President, Wealth Management UBS Financial Services Mr. Hausler is a Vice President of Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services in Manasquan, NJ. Mr. Hausler and his team have provided investment guidance to homeowner association clients for over 30 years and currently serves over 100 properties. Mr. Hausler’s goal is to provide the most active, personalized and cost effective platform for homeowner associations to manage their investment assets. Mr. Hausler has been an active member of CAI for many years, serving on various committees and participating in webinars, workshops and speaking engagements. He is also a former Board member having served as treasurer and president of various properties where he resided.
