• Set the expectation in your commu- nity. A seasonal notice or reminder is a good way to let homeowners know what will be done during a snow or ice event. If plowing doesn’t begin until a specified amount of snow has accumulated, ensure that they know this. If walk- ways and landings will be done later in the operations, make them aware that venturing outdoors may be hazardous and to wear appro- priate footwear. Be sure that all residents at the property are clear on exactly what they can expect during a snow storm or event with accumulating ice or freezing rain.
