What was the make and model of your first car? 1978 Chevy Monza. Bought it for 100 buckaroos! That rust bucket didn’t last long and I was able to upgrade to a 1985 Mazda RX7. I miss that car. What movie or song title best describes your life? Any 80’s station-I listen all day long- can’t pick just one song to describe my life. All of the 80s! How do you relax after a hard day at work? I’m not sure I ever actually relax after a hard day at work. With 2 kids, one is a teenager- there is always something going on at our house. Belvedere is a wonderful friend after a very stressful day! Otherwise, just coming home and when my little one is so happy to see me, that makes it all melt away for that moment.

What is your favorite restaurant or favorite meal? My favorite restaurant is The Little Food Inn in Pompton Plains. I’ve never ordered something that I didn’t like; everything is delicious. I love all of their specials! Every now and again they make a salad with spinach, figs, goat cheese, bacon, candied pecans and so many layers of deliciousness. Especially when my best date is with Mr. Richardson. What was the make and model of your first car? I had a red Nissan Sentra. When I got it my senior year of High School I remember thinking, “Freedom is mine. No one can stop me now!” What movie or song title best describes your life? “Just Fine” by Mary J. Blige. Because “I wouldn’t change my life, my life’s just fine.” I blast this song when life’s got me down and I need a pick-me-up. It always adds a little spring in my step. How do you relax after a hard day at work? I rest – my favorite four-letter word. I find rest watching the same movies over and over again, playing games with my kids, running around with my sweet dog or just plain ol’ do nothing for a while. Life is constantly demanding my time and energy and there is always something to do. So I revel in the moments when I have the courage to shut everything down and just rest.
