homework before deciding is always prudent. Once you decide, and you move into your new digs, whether a home, condo, or townhome, enjoy this new chapter in your life. Also, don’t be afraid to get involved, whether running for the board, signing up for a commit- tee, or joining a club. It’s a great way to meet new neighbors and make new friends. n

like this. You have to ask yourself, “is it right for me?” For my husband and I, it was not. Our home has three bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms, a dining room, and a great room/ breakfast room/kitchen in one big open room. Our model is great for entertaining. We also have a 2 car garage. Our community offers numerous activities including; cultural arts events, parties, trips, sports, and many clubs. We have hosted two neighborhood parties to meet our new neighbors. We now have 5 grandchildren. Our Long Island daughter and her family now stay with us overnight when visit- ing. They have the entire 2nd floor — 2 bedrooms and a bathroom to them- selves.
