Interested in taking an active role in the operations of the New Jersey chapter of Community Associations Institute?

All members of the chapter are welcome to apply to serve on a committee for 2023. Three (3) of CAI-NJ’s committees are dedicated exclusively to Homeowner Leaders, Managers and Business Partners. There are several other committees that require the input of all membership groups to meet their goals. Detailed information about each committee can be found inside this brochure. The service policy allows: - Business Partner Members - up to three (3) seats on committees, with one (1) company representative per committee. - Manager Members - one (1) company representative per nine (9) applicable committees. - Homeowner Leader Members - one (1) community representative per nine (9) applicable committees. Each representative may also sit on up to two (2) committees. - Ultimate Partners - are allowed seats on four (4) committees in a given year, with one (1) company representative per committee. While placement on committees is limited, the chapter will do its best to accommodate your request. Be sure to read the Committee Guidelines, Meeting Dates & Attendance Policy carefully each year prior to volunteering to serve. The guidelines are posted on the chapter’s website at www.cainj.org.

Chapter Retreat

2023 Committee members must attend the CAI-NJ Annual Meeting & Chapter Retreat on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at The Grand Marquis, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. The committee will decide at the Chapter Retreat which meeting platform that will be set for each scheduled meeting. (virtual or in-person) If the meeting is set for in-person, there will be no virtual option available. If the meeting is set for virtual, all cameras must be turned on to be counted as present.

Space on committees is limited and your reply is not a guarantee that you will be selected for service.

PLEASE NOTE: This form must be received in the CAI-NJ office by Monday, October 3, 2022. Committee assignments for 2023 will be made by Friday, October 14, 2022.
